Born on 5 February 1997, which was 27 Ramadan 1417 AH,
at CMH Hospital, Multan. Raised in Karachi from a very
young age in a family that did business for a living. At fifteen,
helping at my father's shoe shop taught me the basics. How to buy,
how to sell, how to handle customers, and how to count the cash at
the end of the day.
During my matriculation holidays I discovered gaming servers. The
curiosity turned into a self-taught journey through online forums
and late-night experiments. In 2014, at seventeen, I
started OBHost as a side project. By 2016
it was registered in Pakistan as a sole proprietorship. In
2019, I took it international and incorporated
OBHost LLC in Delaware, USA. Today it serves clients
around the world.
Along the way I did a short stint as a sysadmin and then as an IT
administrator. Both jobs taught me hands-on what no book could. That
early VoIP exposure is what later became The Voice Solutions.
My main focus right now is the Gulf. While almost every
company in the group is moving into Saudi Arabia, the strongest push is
in media. Two brands are leading that play:
TechX Pakistan, which is already covering the global
tech scene from Pakistan, and
Dhikrayat
(ذكريات), a brand built specifically for the GCC market.
